One of the most important things to remember is without customers our business is nothing.  So as business owners we must keep out customers happy and loyal to us.  This will help to bring them back time and time again; and to refer you to others.

Where would we be without customers? Loyal customers keep businesses afloat. So how can you encourage loyalty? Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Reward Frequent Customers: This one’s a classic. If you haven’t already done so, start a database of regular customers. Offer them monthly specials like two-for-one deals, discounts, or referral bonuses.
  • Host a Party: Nothing is better for meeting and mingling than a holiday party. Invite your regular customers to a special get-together just for them. This is a great way to let your customers know how much you care.
  • Offer Special Hours: If you have limited hours and days you are open, consider extending your hours sometimes for regulars only. Invite your regular customers to an exclusive presale event. Offer them first crack at a discounted item or a class on something special about your business
